Results!

The results from the amnio are in, and they are good!

They also told us it is a boy, so we will have to come up with a name now. Our first thought was 'a boy named Sue' , but we'll come up with something.

We're off to Wales now hopefully arriving there around 4. Louise is looking forward to shopping, and looking around for stuff, now that we know what color it is supposed to be :-) .

Amniosynthesis

Hello all.

As most of you know Louise had an amniocentesis on Monday morning. Everything went well, and we got to see the baby again on the ultrasound. No prints this time, so nothing to post here. Although Louise may tell you it was a needle the size of a javelin, it really was a tiny needle, which didn't leave a single mark.
No bleeding or anything. So now for the next wait, the results will take 2 to 3 weeks. Everything looked good on the scans, so we are confident it will be okay.
